Jen has worked in higher education for almost 20 years. Currently she is a Senior Student Mentor in the College of Graduate Business at Western Governors University. Jen received her B.A. in East Asian and Hispanic Languages and Culture from Indiana University at Bloomington. She received her MBA in International Management from Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. Jen worked as an Assistant English Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) for two years, living in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. She moved into international business and worked in the clinical trial industry as a Project Manager for a number of years before ending up in higher education. Jen taught Japanese and General Studies and advised students at a small liberal arts college for 13 years prior to beginning her tenure at Western Governors University.
